1. You must ensure you bring writing equipment to every tutoring/revision session.
  2. You must communicate with Cat in advance to tell her of any specific things you want to look at.
  3. You must let Cat know the dates of any school assessments which you would like help with.
  4. If Cat sets you work to complete specifically for a tutoring session, you must ensure this is done to the best of your abilities.
  5. You must be polite and respectful – including to the cats!
  6. You must treat any items which Cat lends to you, together with Cat’s tutoring premises and possessions contained therein, with respect.
  7. Cat accepts that most students will have a mobile phone with them. You must keep it on silent and out of the way (ideally in a bag/pocket, or if necessary face down on the table) during tutoring sessions though.
  8. You must be honest about what you do and don’t understand – Cat is here to help you learn, and if you haven’t understood something, she needs to know so she can find a different way to explain it!
  9. You or Your Parent/Guardian must notify Cat at least 48 hours in advance of any known absence requiring cancellation of a tutoring session. In emergency situations, you must notify Cat as soon as you are able to.
  10. You are welcome to bring a bottle of water with you (or a glass of water can be provided), but Cat asks that you don’t otherwise bring drinks/snacks to tutoring/revision sessions. The only exception to this is the half-day sessions when you may bring a snack and drink for our half-way break. If you have medical issues that mean this is not appropriate for you, please speak to Cat and we can come to an agreement.
